South Africa

In March 1998, during his Africa tour President President Bill Clinton visited South Africa where he spent his longest stay compared to the five African nations included in the tour. South Africa made a peaceful transition from apartheid. It has a robust political system and a largely industrial economy. The U.S. hopes that with being an economically healthy and politically stable country, South Africa can help the entire continent develop better to fight poverty and improve education and health. South Africa has made good progress and his helping some African countries, but still fighting poverty and HIV aids in its own territory.

Vietnam

Russia

On June 3 2000, 21.00. U.S. President Clinton has arrived in Moscow. The main reason for his visit is to inform the Russian president that the U.S will start building an anti-missile shield over its territory. Russia disagreement with the United States is as follows: if the U.S. builds an anti-ballistic missile system, they can threaten the world with nuclear missile strikes, and deliver nuclear strikes against all Eurasian countries including Russia, without risk of receiving a counterblow. On the eve of Clinton's visit to Russia, President Putin proposed that Russia and the U.S. build a joint anti-ballistic missile system.

Jordan-Israel

On October, 26, 1994 Jordan and Israel signed an historic peace treaty in a ceremony held in the Arava valley of Israel, north of Eilat and near the Jordanian border.” The Prime Minister Rabin and King Hussein of Jordan shook hands with Bill Clinton congratulate both of the countries for signing the peace treaty Jordan and Israel finally agree with treaty. Both Jordan and Israel benefited from the peace treaty. Israel has secured it eastern border with Jordan, and the Kingdom gained stability and a wide range of economic assistance and political support from the United States and many other donors.

Syria

Chile

President Clinton, will traveled to Chile. He was on a four-day visit to Santiago, where he was the guest of “President Eduardo Frei and participated in the second Summit of the Americas with leaders from all Western Hemisphere nations except Cuba.” The senior advisers were discussing that the Chile’s objectives are trying to “expand trade, marshaling international resources to support education, and cementing friendly relations with countries such as Chile and Brazil that once were at odds with Washington over government and economic systems. He was hosted by the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Chairman and CEO Richard Fain. RCCL is one of largest foreign investor in Haiti Over the pass years. They brought more than 10 million tourists to the island of Haiti and has made over 100 million dollars. North Korea

Bill Clinton has been known for traveling all over the word while he was president. He continued to travel overseas, even after the end his presidential term. The most current time he traveled was to North Korea in august 5, 2009, to save two innocent American journalists who were just trying to do their job. The two American journalists were stopped by the North Korea authority and were put in jail. Bill Clinton negotiated with the North Korean Authority and convinced them to free the journalists who returned to Washington D.C safely. “The Pyongyang's Korean Central News Agency called the move as "humanitarian and peace-loving" for gesture of freeing Laura Ling and Euna Lee.”
